2 Madagascar operating portfolio

HIER has developed, built and operated hydro plants in Madagascar since 2008, from 60 kW village schemes to megawatt-scale plants. The plants below are in operation or were commissioned under the consortium.

Case studies — FAQ

Can we visit a reference plant?

For selected references, visits can be arranged together with the plant owner and operator. Send the plant name, your organisation and proposed dates, and we will confirm availability with the owner.

Do you publish owner names and contract values?

Owner and operator names are published only where the client has agreed. Contract values are not published. References can be verified directly with the client, with their consent, during due diligence.

Were these plants built by the consortium or by HIER alone?

Both. Plants commissioned before the consortium was formed were delivered by HIER as a local developer and operator. Projects from 2022 onwards combine HIER's local execution with TC's manufacturing and engineering.
